Out of the box and using GE 10-3 the game has massive performance problems. Some would call it playable, but I wouldn't. Using experimental seems to have fixed the problem.

Runs out of the box. No tinkering required
In excl. fullscreen game switches the main monitor when tabbing out and back in. Options to set game monitor and windowed fullscreen are provided.
Game ran perfectly fine after initial confusion due to error with graphics driver install. Game performs now just fine with no bigger problems.

Horrific performance, 1FPS and nigh uncontrollable menus
Unfortunately a unplayable condition. Did not bother to try out other versions of proton.

40fps 10tdp
German description of the game modes gets pretty small at one part when selecting with the start of a new game. Besides that text is pretty good to read.
Controls can be a little rough at beginning espacially because you need to use bascially everything the SD has to offer including trackpad which can make the building of your truck a bit tricky, but once you get used to it (which can take a little while on the steam deck with default controls) its good to play.

I had to switch to Proton-GE to start and open the game. Using steam-defaults lead to a black window and sound only.
The camera and controls were stuttering a lot. Smooth gameplay was not possible.
I've tried some different versions of Proton. With a version of Proton GE the game was running (at least). On my computer it's to much lag and stuttering to offer a good gameplay.
