I needed to add 2 files from Windows to the game prefix - icuuc.dll and icuin.dll . They are in the system32 and syswow64 folders. I copied the files from and to both folders, just in case, and the game started.
With the needed Files copied the game started and was playable...but not out of the box.

Once It runs It runs quiet good, I still have to figure out how to make it compile the shaders before launching the game
%command% -vulkan
Force Feedback for the G27 is still not working I will come back once I have a Fix
Needs Vulkan to start but does not precache shaders, so the first lap of a map might stutter
My prefix was missing 2 dlls icuuc.dll and icuin.dll It has these DLLs in the form icuuc68.dll and icuin68.dll I did not see this before I downloaded them from a Windows PC of mine. They are also available on the Web. but maybe removing th 68 before the dot also does the trick. Also for some reason the game wants to run in DX12 even though Vulkan seems to work just fine. Have not tried it for Long, so I can't talk about long term performance. But this fixes the game not launching.
Game doesn't start after 1.0 Release
Not playable after last major update.

Tried standard proton 9.0-4, Experimental and GE, it just stays at starting and back to launch, no window of any kind shows up.
Not working
My G27 did work for input, however the Force Feedback did not work

Good thing is that it works out of the box. Bad thing is that on Medium graphics settings it seems to be slightly less than 30FPS.
Text too small for Steam Deck
Well. It's playable but less enjoyable in terms of performance.
Rideable for sure. Competitive? Unlikely on SteamDeck.

had to switch to vulkan to get more than 15 fps
The force feedback of my Moza R12 worked, only problem was the performance.
