It ran great on a ~10 min test, totally vanilla default install. Zero tinkering, only tried singleplayer.
This is a fun little metroidvania I played a long time ago. It might actually be ideal on Steam Deck since you can map the back grip buttons and never have to lift your thumbs off the analog sticks. There's lots of blacks and color contrast so it will take advantage of an OLED screen if you've got one.
Audio in Videos does not work.
Video and Gamepad support only work with the specified Proton GE Version 7-10. Every other version either didn't have videos at all or didn't have gamepad support.
There is no audio in the videos. However, the videos are very short and have no speech in them, they are not necessary to understand the very minimalistic story. The game runs fine otherwise.
I have played through the whole game, but did not try any multiplayer modes. No issues with sleep mode.

Cutscenes do not play audio. Audio in the game itself works.
Definitely go for the Proton support on this game to get a better framerate and gamepad controls.
If you have a decent enough GPU and don't mind using the mouse, the native Linux version might be enough for you, however, as the the native Linux port does feature sound in the cutscenes.
