I played through the whole game with the ice and fire extension on the impossible level. There were no more crash than on windows.
Instability:Occasionally
This game also crashes sometimes on windows. It is not more frequent on linux.
On windows, after the crash the application closed automatically. On linux I had to kill manually.

By default, it wanted to run at 1024x768, and the in-game fonts were kind of squirrely. I changed display setting to my monitor's native 1920x1080 resolution, looked great. When I tried to save the game it froze, but with music still playing. I restarted and everything worked fine - played for a couple hours with no issues at all.
