If you use a Version of Proton above 7.0-6(Proton 8.0-5 + Proton 9.0-2) you will notice a visual bug specifically related to the Steam Deck OLED. Everything will appear brighter, and colors won't be accurate. as if HDR is running on SDR Content. not saying that's what's happening, but trying to describe the visual imbalance.
LCD Model is unaffected & can use Proton Versions as high as: Proton 9.0-2 + Proton Experimental
The bug only Occurs on OLED & Developers cannot fix it, bc it is a Vavle issue, not the game engine.
https://steamcommunity.com/app/1950570/discussions/0/4422059016572103336/ I've documented the issue here, the developer is aware of the bug, but it is actually up to Valve to fix. The visual bug going away when using Proton 7.0-6 & that it's ONLY happening to OLED models is proof that it's not the game engine.
Something strange is going on in Proton or SteamOS, i'll report my findings to the Github.

WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra %command%
This is strange, again it's Experimental, but I remember not being able to open or load the game. The Window would open, but it wouldn't exactly "hang" but it didn't progress even though the .exe was functioning heathily. An Proton Experimental update was pushed today and now it's fine. If you have issues, run it in WINE with my commands & it should be fine.
I think at the time of writing this review that Desktop Linux experience of this game is fine, and any problems aren't plentiful, because I feel like i'm looking for problems instead of actually experiencing anything. All is good, I would probably recommend Proton 7.0-6 though.

This is noteworthy, the Steam Deck LCD Model works fine, but the OLED Steam Deck has strange issues with color accuracy when using the latest Proton 8+ Version as of this writing.
Requires GE-Proton to avoid crashing on startup.
