The native version did not work for me, I was able to launch but beginning a new game caused it to crash. On switching to GE Proton the game ran flawlessly.

MANGOHUD_CONFIG=full,no_display strangle 60 mangohud %command%
Not much to say here, as the native version works more or less as you'd expect. It's a Unity game, so I'd expect to work just fine under Proton as well.
One thing to keep in mind is that the game has no option to cap framerates. I played this on my laptop, which has a 144Hz screen, and that caused some serious heating issues. Since this is a native OpenGL game, you can't use DXVK_FRAME_RATE
, and Mangohuds frame limiter doesn't always seem to work well for OpenGL games, so I capped the framerate at 60 using libstrangle
, which usually works quite well for me.
Changed left trackpad to mimic mouse. Right joystick to click. Left joystick to right-click
Very rarely the music would cutout for a split second
At one point after an encounter with a late-game NPC, my screen was very glitched and I could not see anything I was interacting with. Luckily it had auto-saved recently and I was able to replay the encounter more or less the way it went before
Minimal tinkering to get controls working on steam deck. I uploaded my control scheme to the community as well
