Lower framerate than expected at default (high) settings.

It's a cute story-based game. The FPS dips into the 20s and the few instances of small text do not significantly impact playability.
A small number of prompts (like the loading indicator) appear in small font. Story and menu text is all OK.
Playable, but with FPS dips into the 20s even on medium preset, no anti-aliasing and v-sync enabled (my preferred settings). Given the simple graphic models, this seemed oddly low. Small loading text makes me wonder if it is rendering at a larger resolution than necessary, but I don't know how to check this. Resolution is not changeable in the game menu. FPS is also not selectable, so I needed to set the Steam Deck refresh rate to 30 in order to get the game's v-sync setting to work properly, though this is not a necessary step.
I hope the developer considers adding resolution and v-sync refresh rate settings or at least makes fixes to improve these small steam deck issues. The low performace preset looks really bad, so I stuck with medium despite frame dips here or there.
