The game's windowing behaves a bit weirdly, though it's probably not Proton's fault. Fullscreen would make the desktop unresponsive, and borderless mode is not supported. Forcing the game into borderless with KDE's window rules resulted in buttons in the game being offset and the game would switch back to normal windowed mode every time I tabbed out.
You can probably work around all of this with Gamescope, but I opted to simply play the demo in windowed mode.
Volumetric fog and global illumination settings hit the frame rate absurdly hard, and VRAM was an issue at max textures and 1440p resolution. With these settings off and textures toned down the demo ran at a comfortable 90+ FPS.

Pretty cool Demo, smooth performance for hte most part, although it was all narrow corridors, game has potential
Some random stutters mid-gameplay even with not much action happening some of which lasted up to a second
Game is pretty smooth, only problems were the initial loong first game launch, random stutters and the game process seems to have taken quite a long time after quitting to sloe, not sure why
