Ez to open in /home//.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/WRFrontiers/13_2017027/WRFrontiers/Binaries/Win64/WRFrontiers-Win64-Shipping.exe , but can not log in. It's as if the game itself disables the ability to run with Linux.
Game attempts to launch but opens an error window stating "no system resources. File name: /path/to/your/drive/Frontiers-Win65-Shipping.exe"
Experimental

Not working
No system resources. Filename: Z:\media<user><drive>\SteamGames\steamapps\common\WEFrontiers\13_2017027\WRFrontiers\Binaries\Win64\WRFrontiers-Win64-Shipping.exe
Tried the forced mode in Steam: Proton Hotfix, Proton Experimental, Proton 9.0-4

No System Resources error
Error pops up after splash screen. Tried a few versions of proton including GE, and Experimental.

Refuses to run due to anticheat.
Tried various versions of proton and launched the game various ways through protontricks.
Launching the game executable directly
Game includes kernel level anticheat module that --- once failing to load(as shown by proton logs) --- either intentionally or unintentionally causes MGLauncher to display the vague error message of "no system resources"
Developers publically acknowledge the lack of steamdeck/proton support. Allegedly planned for the future but not being worked on.

Crashes after splash screen image.
Game start error. No system resources.
None of the proton versions available in steam work.
Works great on the steam deck controls with a mix of thumbstick and trackpad input. Mouse and keyboard players only have a small advantage.
The special abilities options (q and f) are in strange postions
Change the settings to low and resolution scale to 75%
Some text is small but still able to read
Runs well on medium and low setting mixed at a stable 60 fps
Enjoyable on steam deck with very little issues.
