gamemoderun %command%

Required reinstallation before working. In the first install the game would outright refuse to launch. However, after reinstallation the game works flawlessly as far as I can tell.

Works perfectly as intended
Works on proton well. I'm glad that develoepr is on board with testing it on Ubuntu.
Confirming it seems to work about as well as native Windows now, no tweaks required.

The game seems to use your screen size as window size, making some UI elements only fully visible while in fullscreen
Hey people, I'm Verde, developer of Role of Hex. From my tests, the game launchs on the default settings of proton since 1.3.0e (19/12/2023). I'll now be checking this page from time to time but don't be afraid of reporting any proton related issue in the steam community or in the discord server here: https://discord.gg/CqNqYGanwj

Game very shortly flickers on startup, and then vanishes. Tried several variants of proton, none worked.
No worky, borky.
Game window pops up and closes.
Game window pops up with inner area of the content filled with the screen content that was there before and sets window title to game title and than closes directly after it. X11/XFCE
Hit 'Play', black screen popped up, then exited. Likely reason is Wayland, I'm not on my X/Nvidia machine so I can't confirm.
Tried to play the game on my laptop because I saw it looked pretty simple and fun.
So I installed it, but it doesn't run. I'm like 50/50 on the issue being that I'm trying to run it on Wayland/Plasma, but it could be anything.
