Perfect in running the game, playing, and everything
Aside from a minor thing: Some Light Flickering when the boss Otto & Manuel is on Screen on pre-rendered scenes (probably the head texture) on X11, i can't say if it does it on Wayland compositors

Runs smoothly out of the box!
Works absolutely clean, no problems at all!
Works perfectly fine

No matter the graphical settings or the power management, the game will crawl around 20 fps during most races.
Reduced TDP to 9
Small text can be hard to read due to low resolution
Open world runs at almost flawless 40fps, races stutters almost constantly no matter the TDP or ingame settings
Proton Experimental can help but only the open world is enjoyable smoothly.

It works well with the default proton version, and the multiplayer works very well.

- During Story mode, initial testing suggested that 60 FPS was, indeed, attainable under the right conditions but after entering a race against Clutch Revvington, 60 FPS was impossible to maintain or even achieve.
- During activities, the game can somewhat keep close to 60 at Medium preset with some settings set to low (anti-aliasing, post-processing, view distance, foilage detail).
- During races, however, FPS drops tremendously and cannot remain steady under a 60 FPS lock, hovering around 30-50 throughout the whole race, suggesting that locking to 30 in-game or using the FPS lock on the Deck's side is viable.
- At high default settings, I was able to keep a locked 30 throughout the race. Medium and Low prove to be fruitful for greater stability and potentially running at higher framerates.
- However, try as I might, I could not keep the game running at 60 (or close to 60) without making major compromises to the point where it's just more preferable to play at 800p30 Medium/High than it is to play lower than that.
Does not start with default Proton version

Works as it should. No extra steps. I set mine to High with constant frames between 55-60.
Text was a bit small
Text is on the small side
You need to force Proton Experimental BETA [bleed-edge]
Works out of the box, 40hz offers stable framerate at high preset, some dips here and there but not game breaking.
Works day one without any tinkering, I get around two hours of battery in 40hz on high preset. Saves are handled by the game itself and it works I can go from PC to steam deck and back seamlessly.
Game installs and runs. On Deck, game is playable but has a hard time running at a consistent 30 FPS with medium/high settings, and 60 FPS seems completely out of the question, even on lowest settings.
The cloud saves are handled quite well by the game itself. I ran it on high preset, 40hz and it sometime drops to 35 fps but it is playable.
The game is looking good on deck and the frame drops I had on it were on the same locations in game than on my windows PC. It's not game breaking, runs very well at 40 Hz most of the time. I have around 2 hours of battery on steam deck while playing. No tinkering, just installed the game out of the box and it works perfectly.
