Used the Decky-Framegen plugin
Render resolution is terrible, everything is a blurry mess
Can`t get stable fps, at most 20
I had all settings on min and DLSS on Performance and the game was barely holding 18-20

some time it small but to me readable
Decky Frame Gen plugin fix Fps issue for steam deck i basic get 40-60fps play the game now when i have it on

Runs too poorly on deck to be worth it imo. There are better final fantasy's and jrpgs anyways.
The game has extreme fps drops and overall runs really poorly. Also the games engine is tied to the fps. So if you set it to a 120 cap and you run the game at 3on the steam deck for instance the game will play at a snails pace.
If you only have a deck pass on this. If you have a beefy rig then this should be just fine to play. Otherwise, steer clear.

C++ 2019-22 needed

Special k
40Hz
without changes, game works awfully
Install Special K and activate "Sleepless render thread" and "sleepless window thread". Ingame options are set to 720p, 100% resolution scale and most effects disabled.

Game runs now with setting 3d scaling to 50% and texture and shadows on low. ive had no more crashes on steam deck.

Game sometimes run 30fps even with EVERYTHING set to low but mostly hung between 15-20fps
Poorly optimized and I don't know how everyone else got 30fps stable because even with everything on low in the handheld mode i could only get that at times. Will have to say it does not work with steam deck at this time :(

Game wont load out the box, Cutscenes dont work, Use script and GE proton to fix
game will not run out the box without script and cutscenes will not work without GE proton both are essential for this game to work correctly. Once it does, it will run pretty well @ 30fps

Must use Proton GE for cutscenes, and use launch options.
Runs mostly stable 30fps on low, Resolution 90%, FSR1.0 on, AA on, everything else= on, motion blur= off.
Cryo Utilities used. GPU clock set to max.
Looks really mushy, but framerate is generally around 30. Playable on Steam Deck for sure, but definitely not optimal.

Game wouldn't launch without setting the launch option, and even then it lagged on a loading screen. Had to change the proton version to the above to get it to actually get past that. Runs on low settings, looks kinda blurry in gameplay, but the cutscenes are crisp.
Shows a black screen, presumably when it tries to play the intro video, and crashes back to SteamOS.
