tried gamescope, still stuck at 20fps
As others have noted, the audio at times doesn't output correctly.
With the stable Proton, it is locked at 20fps with or without gamescope in command line parameters. Only switching to experimental fixed this
The experience requires tinkering and changing proton versions.

Deactivated VSync 60 it's more smooth for camera movement
If you want to change the language in the game with Heroic Launcher I created a guide on reddit

A month ago it froze on the loading screen but after I updated various things recently it's starting and playing with no obvious problems. Other than being a bit slow to load but that just may be how the game is.

Occasional delay/soft freezing but it fixes itself after a few seconds
All GE proton versions have no audio it seems, but forcing experimental fixed the issue.

If you love dinosaurs
Game selects first audio device in list, no matter what you set in the OS. After launching game, tab out, switch to a different audio device, then switch back.
I got 80-100 fps running native and 100-120 fps on proton experimental
Game would not open without proton. Upon booting up the game, if I do not immediately skip the opening credits (via hitting space bar or something), the game will freeze my entire computer and I'll need to force a restart. Skipping the opening credits fast enough (ie. hitting space as soon as I see the first logo fade in) allows the game to load normally. Have not played for long enough on linux to be able to tell if the game remains stable, but I can access my save files and whatnot just fine.

This plays great on Steam Deck. If you like dinos and cosy games you'll have a good time :)
In QAM: set FPS limit to 40, adjusted TDP and GPU frequency. In Game: lowered draw distance

This plays flawlessly on Steam deck. If you like cute dinos and cosy games you'll have a great time.

It's a cute and relaxing game.
Much like Valheim, you need to pop out of the game, and swap audio devices. Choose a different one, then the main one and Audio suddenly works prefectly.
Ran the game fine, then added items to a broken garden, and FPS suddenly capped to 20fps, regardless of settings.
I will try a different Proton version other than experimental and see what I can find to fix my issue.

Audio completely missing
No audio at all
Switched to using GE-Proton9.4 and game worked great!
