The game does not have Steam Saves at the time of this reporting.
No tinkering needed. The game auto selects the low graphics setting, which runs perfect. I tried the medium graphics setting with the mirror setting set to Only internal mirrors and it was playable but I did noticed the FPS dropped.
Frames drops to ~15-30 on Ultra setting, ~35-50 on High Plus and ~50-60 on High. My final settings are High with mirrors set to All internals, which runs at ~45-55 FPS.
This report is for the full game version released on May/21/2025. There is not too much tinkering really, I only selected Proton 9.0-4 and ran the game. I did tried to run the game with selecting any Compatibility tool and surprisingly runs but with some stutter and after 2 or 3 mins the game frozed completely, this does not happens with Proton 9.0-4.

I play on high settings with some options on ultra in 1080p with XeSS Quality and getting 65-100 fps.

Runs like... meh, but other than a few slowdows, simmilar to forza horizon 5.
Only played 30 minutes so far but everything runs fine out of the box.
All settings on ultra, fullscreen On and frame generation Off. My DualShock 4 controller is recognised and showing the correct button layout in game. No bugs.

It's a cool looking & upcomming racing game that focuses on drifting. Currently only the Demo is out and that is what I played.
Unsure if this is a bug of the game or specific for my setup, but when I start the game I can't accelerate or deceleration before tabbing out and back into the game at least once. All other controls work right away.
It works out of the box for me, however there is the issue with the acceleration / deceleration (up & down key on keyboard and RT & LT on a controller) not working right away. Tabbing out and back doesn't seem like a reliable way to fix it, but I have no idea how I'd go about fixing it. Once they work, they tend to work for the rest of the play session.
