Native Support
Although this game has a Linux-native build available, Steam does not list it as having Linux support. This can happen if a game has an unofficial, unfinished, or unsupported build. You may need to force Steam to enable Proton for the game in order to run properly.

This game wouldn't open as is. I switched to Experimental and it worked perfectly.

You can start the game, but it is still very buggy. Some puzzles don't work at all. At this point I still can't recommend this game for the Steam Deck.
I am still hoping this game is going to be improved for the Steam Deck.

By adding dotnet40 to the default wineprefix the game will launch complete with audio/video and controller support.
I have tried every Proton version, I did run Proton tricks like suggested, also that does not work. After using Protontricks dotnet6desktop, Proton 5.13-6 seems the game to launch, but after the voice says ¨Welcome to my house" you have to click on the house and that´s it. The screen turns black with an exception of the little clock at the left side of your screen.
Sad story, the free DLC of the regular game does work on the deck, but only on half of the screen in a very poor quality.
Played it from start to finish and it ran like native after the simple dotnet4 protonfix.
required to run: protontricks 1044340 dotnet40
In-game sound and music was set to zero. Fixed by simply moving the sliders up in the settings menu.
Steam overlay works. All achievements work.
