Runs well apart from minor slowdowns, no crashes, game is great !

Apart from the issues with the driver version (that'll probably get fixed in the next version) game runs butter smooth

There are mostly two ways to solve the driver error (Doom Eternal wants to run with the Nvidia 471 driver which is not published on Linux yet. You can either use an older version of Proton. Newer version may stop working without notice (6.3 worked until it didn't). You can also use the PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 in order to lie to Doom Eternal so that it believes that you are using an AMD GPU. Some features (like DLSS) will be disabled (but if you use an older Proton version RT and DLSS are disabled)
