It will crash. Repeatedly. Possibly 100% consistently at the same point.
When playing on enhanced graphics, character sprites exhibit weird glitchiness.
The cutscene at the start of the Prehistoric era keeps crashing, preventing me from progressing in the game.

Crashed on completion of the first Classmating sequence - game is unplayable.
First attempt to start the game caused a graphics-only freeze on the main title screen while rendering the mist/fog effects.

Game window opened, displayed an unresponsive black screen with no sound. Had to kill the process.

[EA/Alpha] All-white game window, "Win32 function failed" error
When launching the game, after the game window pops up, an alert dialog with the following message pops up:
Win32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x887a0020
Call: at line 2202 in file \Graphics_DisplayM.cpp
Clicking "OK" closes the dialog, but it immediately pops up again.
This error code appears to translate to "DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR".
My previous report was caused by an issue with Disgaea 5 not shutting down cleanly.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC stops the game from crashing after about five minutes.
