I'm using the EA App version as a non-Steam game since I don't own the game on Steam, but the game works almost flawlessly after the Proton Experimental update on 20/10/23.

Videos are now working correctly, so the -skipvideos launch argument is no longer needed to get in-game. I haven't tried without an existing save, so I'm unsure if the intro is fixed and can be started on a new save.

The freezing issue with the online mode is also fixed, although I've not found many players online at the time of writing. However, microphone input on the Steam Deck doesn't seem to be working in-game for the VOIP.
