Audio completely breaks if your audio output device switches or disconnects for any reason. Probably not an issue for most people but my headset USB had a weird blip where it disconnected and reconnected and I had to restart the game to regain audio.
The game tends to switch back to showing keyboard icons in tutorials and tooltips when it starts while tabbed out (e.g. due to having another window focused on a second monitor). You have to manually go into the options to switch to back to showing controller icons whenever this happens. Slightly annoying but not a big deal.
As of hotfix 2.1 I have no issues running on Linux with Vulkan.
Prior to hotfix 2.1 I had to play with DX11 and it was very stuttery but not unplayable considering it's a turn-based game. Now that Vulkan works the game runs at least as well as it does on Windows.
Works perfectly with Proton Experimental and PS5 controller. Unable to install unless you force compatibility.
%command% -force-d3d11
Not many people playing this game anymore but the online works just fine.
I kept seeing pink boxes instead of text on the title screen even after trying all the tweaks other people mentioned. The only thing that worked for me was running with -force-d3d11 and now it runs exactly as it would in Windows.
Nearly unplayable on newer Proton versions. Marginally better on 5.0-10 but still averaging about 16 fps with regular dips.
WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=8:0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14 %command%
Nearly unplayable without specifying WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY to ensure that threads are spread across separate physical cores, otherwise very poor framerate. Proton 6.x+ should work fine. Proton 5.x had poor performance with unusually high CPU usage across all cores.
The one ending involving a particular (i.e. gay) option cuts to black on Linux. Audio still plays until it finishes and goes to credits - you just don't get to see anything. No other endings are affected.
[Version 1.0.2] Works 95% perfectly except for the one ending where it just cuts to black. I recommend proton over native for this reason as it's one of the easier endings to get and is one of the endings that probably appeals to many people interested in this game.
My previous report noted an issue with one of the endings that I attributed to the Linux version. I retested it on the Windows version using Proton experimental and it still occurs in exactly the same way. It seems to be unique to my system as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else.
