Can confirm that below notes about audio devices is true. My personal experience was that I couldn't even see the Treyarch logo, just a black screen from launch. Downloading 'Volume Control' (by 'The PulseAudio Developers') from flatpak, going to Configuration tab, and setting all devices to 'Off' to make it that there would only be one input and output fixed my issue. Using T7 patch as well, but issue existed before installation.
Remote Code Execution from cheaters makes online play legitimately dangerous without T7 patch. Maybe still dangerous even with it, I hope I don't find out.
After above tweaks I'm able to play it, but I have a GoXLR for my microphone and mixing, so disabling all my devices makes it a hard sell for me to play. Don't want to have to enable/disable every time I want to play, especially if I have to play solo because I can't use my mic. Hope they find a fix or make a patch or something.
