Explore page renovation and an anti-cheat filter
February 11, 2022More ProtonDB features and fixes have landed over the last week. Much of the focus has been a renovation of the Explore page. It's faster and more accurate. And hopefully is a more enjoyable discovery experience for you.
There's also a new filter: Anti-Cheat. When toggled, it will display the system used in the game tile. Please keep in mind some data is still being integrated, so you'll not see games using for example Fairfight yet.

- Explore: Tag filtering: Applies to the games you're filtering for instead of the general pool of games
- Explore: User score sort: Now ingests data sources properly
- Explore: Release date sort: Now available across more filters
- Explore: Player count sort: Now kept regularly up to date and more accurate
- Explore: Player count sort: No longer gets out of wack on certain sorts (thanks @ibk for spotting)
- Explore: Pagination: Now consistent across filter, sort combinations e. library)
- Explore: Tiles now display a warning if anti-cheat is used by the game
- Explore: Performance improvements via slimmer payloads, better caching and memoization
- Explore: Various misbehaviors retrained
There's also been improvements elsewhere, including:
- Home: Deck Verified tallies now link to Explore with the filter on
- Profile: Library summary: Tags now display frequency across games
- Game pages: Performance improvement
- Game pages: Show all and Add your report buttons: Don't blink into view before ready
- Translations: Turkish and Russian updates
