Running with thcrap

No issues to report. Didn't install any TL patches.
TH15 runs perfectly well with a fixable fullscreen issue but the sound effects have low quality
The music audio sounds perfect just like in Windows but the sound effects' audio is muffled and sounds really bad, due to their low sample rate of 22KHz. This might make the game unplayable for those who care more about their auditive experience
Launching Touhou in fullscreen mode crashes in most distributions but on Manjaro works fine. A solution to play on fullscreen for all distros would be to launch the game in windowed mode and then press alt + enter to enter fullscreen without crashing
The game itself works perfectly. Check your window resolution, edit some options in the Configuration Tool, add JP locale, and that's it.
Used the environment variable LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 and installed Japanese locale to remove buggy japanese characters in the in-game dialogues and Configuration Tool
Game crashes if you try to launch the game in a resolution bigger than your monitor and in full screen. Both the conditions need to be met, so launching in windowed mode or with a resolution smaller than your monitor in full screen is fine.
My final Launch Command on Steam is
LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Vulkan doesn't work with my GPU.
I've installed the following fonts via protontricks: fakejapanese, fakejapanese_vlgothic.
I also have inserted the command LANG="ja_JP.utf8" on "set launch options" to emulate the japanese locale, so the game displays the japanese characters then.
Other than Fullscreen / Windowed issue, works perfect!

Mojibake can be fixed by running the game with the Steam launch options "LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 %command%", assuming you have the locale on your machine.
