VR setup not taken into account in this review.
I did not include any steps related to VR in this review. Depending on your hardware and what drivers you use (ALVR, plain old SteamVR with a Valve headset, etc), your mileage may vary.
That being said, once ALVR and SteamVR were running, I just clicked on install, ran the game, and put my headset on and everything worked flawlessly as far as I could tell.
Story unplayable. You are stuck in a room with a black TV that probably can't play a video. 2 Arcade stages work flawlessly.
Story unplayable. Tutorial video won't load.
The short Hatsune Miku stage works without problems.
Valve Index setup runs perfect with the game out of the box with Proton Experimental.
Proton 5.13-6 can load the game fine, but can't load the intermission load screens properly, so you can't play the actual game.
With Experimental everything is working 100%.
Tested:
-Completed all normal story missions (and one hard mode one)
-Completed the arcade modes (both normal and Miku)
-Completed 100 stage dance battle
-All the other menu options are working as well
