towards the endgame there will be a scandal with one of your idols that freezes the game when you chose an action you can bypass this by chosing an option waiting a bit then exit the game and load the latest auto save that should put you after the scandal
even with this game having a native linux port you better off with proton there is a load of bugs that make the game quite boring/frustrating
