I have not tried joining off Steam list, but I was able to start a public server and other people joined it, and I was able to interact with them without any trouble.

Runs the same as it does on windows with the exception of multiplayer. its still really fun as a singleplayer game

when using Alt-Tab the game stops responding to keyboard input while still locking mouse. it is always on top and the only way to fix was to drop to a tty and kill it
Significant Bugs:
multiplayer does not work when attempting to join a friend steam will try to relaunch the game and never join when inviting friends steam errors out and the game appears offline
