No video, must hit Escape to skip. Tried the game in French, cannot load a new game. Tried the game in English, it runs well.
The game looks gorgeous and ran very smoothly on my hardware.

I had initially failed to get past the animation after the new game creation screen. After loading a save game from a windows installation everything worked fine.
While the initial black videos can be skipped pressing ESC, upon starting the game I always get a black screen with no way to skip.
I tried both with the older 4.11-13 and 5.0-7
Other players noted that it was playable with Proton support. It seems some of the latest patches has broken it. Game runs, but I can't get beyond (failed) intro, which only shows a black screen.
The two or three intro videos don't work, but clicking a few times bypasses them. After that the game appears to play perfectly. Max settings no frame rate issues or skips.
