Was able to see another player's boat and chat with them using the "VHF radio" text chat with no issues.

I had absolutely no problems installing and running eSail. There aren't a lot of sailing simulators for Linux. This one has an extraordinarily helpful tutorial, and it was a great relief to see it work so well out of the box.
I haven't submitted a separate report, but this game ran just as well on a less powerful laptop, AMD Ryzen 3 3200U with Radeon Vega, 3.5 GB RAM, Ubuntu 20.04.

Unknown(2+ hours with Proton)The game runs with no tweaks needed and perfectly playable. There are some lighting glitches and very occasional audio crackle but I have never played the game under windows so don't know if these differ from the norm. Interacting with the desktop (eg. changing volume) causes the game to freeze temporarily but once back it continues as normal.
