If you're used to consistent 50+ FPS, this is rough. Else, the experience actually isn't bad.
Loading screen background is replaced with vertical color stripes. Textures take time to pop-in at full resolution, but the same might happen on Windows.

This can be ignored and videos could be skipped by holding space.
