A Classic that still holds up to this day
The game seems to have degrading performance each time you alt-tab out of it, eventually getting to the point of running in single digit frames if done a lot. But the game plays perfectly fine upon restarting it.
Other than the degrading performance via alt-tabbing, it runs and plays perfectly from start to finish. And it's still great to this day!
Works great with Proton GE and no further tinkering.
You can tell this isn't made for Linux, but if you are cool with relaunching the game until it starts up, the actual game works.
Generally, the game crashes before it launches. You'll have to relaunch a bunch of times to get the game to run. Once you are in-game, you'll be fine (experienced no crashes once the game launches properly).
Again, once you get into the game you'll be fine, it'll play perfectly. However, launching the game from Steam doesn't always work; in fact, it doesn't work more often than it does. Keep relaunching patiently and it'll be fine. Did NOT experience this when playing the GOG version using Heroic Launcher, but I played that version less often, so who knows?
I wasn't able to find any issues whatsoever. Made a community layout allowing the cursor to be controlled with joysticks, trackpads or the touchscreen, while also letting you skip animations and cutscenes with the B button.
First run will take some time for preparing to launch. Afterwards, running will take a reasonable amount of time
Runs perfectly! Only problem I came across was that game crashes to desktop about 70% of times when resizing in windowed mode, but that's hardly gamebreaking.
