Recommend it, but...
Game broke itself after the Kernel update. No matter the Proton version, when I open the game, either a new game or a save game, it shows me the main menu again. When I try the same thing again, the game loads but none of the functions of the diplomacy is present and you cannot hover around the camera to look around.
To the games credit, it worked fine until it broke itself. I tried Proton 7, 9 or even Experimental, but none of them fixed the bug I encountered.

Works perfectly out of the box.
I don't need to add anything.
Works perfectly out of the box

Works perfectly without any modifications
Glithes when alt-tab, fixing by alt-tab again
Works perfectly without any modifications

not launching on new proton versions sadly
Works perfectly. No extra configuration needed.
Works perfectly. No problems
Local multiplayer in Age of History II is done with one set of keyboard and mouse anyway, so this is no different from normal play.
Pretty Good! Amazing performance!
Hearts of Iron 4 but for low-end pc's, buy it if you can! I Spent already like 13 hours playing that game.

It's a very simple game and works very well on proton, It plays like it's native, I never played the multiplayer though
Works flawlessly because it's a very simple game
You can play it like usual, install mods with wine, mess around with the files, create scenarios... the usual stuff.
Overall, works excellently.
Zooming out too far causes the game to slow to a halt, and inputs become unresponsive. Zoomed-in works mostly fine.
One crash in several hours of gameplay. Probably a coincidence.
Works out of the box on Proton 4.11-13
Just Download, Play and sometimes the game has a lag, but is playable!
Work perfectly, just plug and play !
Works flawlessly out of the box without any performance issues.
Runs out of the box on Linux Mint + NVidia

I've got an even better performance than in Windows. 60 FPS.

Works quite well on LM19.1 with Proton support. While loading music sometimes got silent, no crash.
