Spooky's Mansion: HD Renovation does NOT run on Steams Default Proton. It just black screens, you'll have to use Proton GE.

I'd thought I would note down that the game was running a bit slow for me, HOWEVER, with a grain of salt, my dedicated GPU wasn't installed. I had to change the resolution.
Looking at requirements I'm not sure if this game needs a GOOD GPU or a decent one.
Maybe it'll run better when I get my dedicated GPU back in (yes its a laptop, with technical issues, don't question why the dedicated GPU isn't in there)

I have only played a little over 200 rooms so far, but everything works perfectly with the latest Proton GE.

Works perfectly out of the box using the current beta-branch of Proton. Steady 60fps and fast loadtimes.
Works only with forced WineD3D11. Game crashes on exit (black screen, unresponsive window), otherwise it seems to work perfectly
