Black screen on launch
The game launches, I can hear the audio but I only see a black screen. Pressing return/esc changes nothing. I also tried widh ProtonGE with the same result.
I tried several versions of Proton, but couldn't get past the opening video.
When starting up the game, it appears in a small window in the upper left of the screen. The MOSS logo and then the autosave warning screen appear, before it goes completely white and the intro music starts playing. Although others have said that pressing ESC or the fire button can get you past this, it didn't work for me. The music plays, stops and then just starts up again. I tried the current Proton version, (7.0-5) Proton Experimental, Proton 6.9-GE-2 and GE-Proton 7-43, none of which made any difference.
Intro video doesn't play but pressing start helps getting into main menu quickly.
Gameplay is perfect. I used Proton 7.0-5 Flatpak community build.
If you can get pass the flickering videos, you're in for the full game. This isn't exactly a plot driven game anyway.
Videos on launch flicker quite violently, but gameplay is perfectly fine.
Flickering videos
There are no videos during gameplay, so the videos flickering will not prevent you from enjoying the game. But it is not a good first impression seeing the glitchy flickering intro videos when launching the game.

Playable but unpleasant. Frame rate is stuttery with occasional freezing, and most game elements are too small for the Deck's screen.

On standard Proton, the game crashes before reaching the main menu.

I also tried using Proton Experimental, Proton 6.3.8 and ProtonGE 7.14. They all crash and burn.

The opening video don't show up, skip directly to main menu, but the game is playable.
Cutscenes remain entirely black, otherwise the game works fine.
Screen remains black on cutscenes, including on boot. It can be skipped with ESC or "X" on my DS4.
The games work pretty much flawlessly for me outside of the cutscenes that remain entirely black (audio can be heard). This includes on boot, the game seemingly boots to a black screen, however it can be skipped with the ESC key or the shot button on a controller.
Played with XBox 360 wired controller on my system. After initial resizing of video to full screen, game seemed to play well. Did not try coop features.
Game doesn't load
Installing Media Foundation allows the game to launch, but it gets stuck at the "Now Loading" screen before the Main Menu
Borked. Installing Media Foundation didn't help.
Installing Media Foundation only allowed the game to get to the screen before the first video ("Now loading"), then everything freezes and only the music is heard.
