Game would not properly fullscreen. Ran fine otherwise. There were a few moments of choppiness on loading, but it's unclear if that's from Proton or just the game itself.
Out of the box performance is poor. With launch option "PROTON_USE_D9VK=1%command%" game works perfectly (60+ fps at 1600p resolution using ACO). You can't switch back to the desktop (game does not minimize, but you can switch the game to a secondary workspace to get around it).
I am using this Xorg config - Option "metamodes" "nvidia-auto-select +0+0 {ForceCompositionPipeline=On, ForceFullCompositionPipeline=On}"
