The game may take up a little bit more battery than I would like but overall I found this to be a really great way to play the game and just enjoy it.
In-game options: Change display mode to Window, and SSAO Quality to Medium, everything else to High
Running the game in borderless or fullscreen mode seems to impact the perfomance for some reason, and if everything is set to high, FPS drops will be noticed all over the place. Setting SSAO quality lower is recommended to mend the FPS issue.
A section of the game is poorly optimized and the CPU usage will ramp up, making the fans very loud. Setting the TDP to 8 will make this section run at 55-60 FPS but will make the fans run at a reasonable level
7W TDP Limit
A perfect fit, IMO. Runs flawlessly, uses a bit of battery but I didn't bother trying to optimise it. Would recommend for sure.
Changing the refresh rate to 40 Hz seems to be the sweet spot if you want decent battery life while playing this. A 30 FPS cap also works even better for battery life, but I find it unplayable at 30 FPS and hard to play at even 40 FPS, so your mileage may vary.
Besides being a bit of a battery hog, there's nothing bad I can say about the game's performance.
