I had to switch to an older Proton version (6.3) to get the game to launch (native, Proton v8 and Proton Experimental didn't work). Other than that: The game runs without any issues

Gnome fix (Still run it in proton)

On gnome if you click on Activities, the pc freezes FIX don't go in Activities tab instead (Still run it in proton)
