Runs flawlessly except detecting save files from previous season
If you have played season 2 and want to import those save files in season 3 you need to copy the contens of this directory: STEAM/steamapps/compatdata/261030/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Telltale Games into this directory: STEAM/steamapps/compatdata/536220/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Telltale Games

A little stuttering sometimes, but it doesn't break the game at all.
If you want to load choices from S2, you need to copy manually save as pointed in below reports.
Sometimes FPS drop, but opening the menu (esc) helps to stabilze the FPSes.

Really easy to setup (you do nothing literally)
There were some minor slowdowns when the cutscenes were loading in or if the game was loading new areas, but nothing too major.
The last time I played the series was when I played the Michonne game, but that does not include the same story as this one did. Either way this game was really cool and I totally recommend it. I played Season 2 in 2019 with my old PC with a Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz a HDD and 2GBs of ram. It ran really well, it pretty much shows how much the developers cared about optimisation here. This game really goes to show that there are old (less demanding) games which can be played on "slow" hardware. If you pick it up, enjoy your play!

45FPS cap, no TDP cap
Tiny subtitles, needed to adjust in settings to Large / Medium
Occassional (rare) audio stutters
Save import from previous games is not supported properly on the Deck, had to manually copy save files from compatdata folder of the previous game
Slight slow-downs to 30FPS (and a little below that) in certain scenes even without TDP cap
After finishing any of the episodes, Player Choices are never loading/showing and they always error out due to game servers being shut down. There's a workaround described in a reddit post which works great: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWalkingDeadGame/comments/fjtrt2/a_workaroundfix_for_player_choices_not_appearing.
Other than the save import not working correctly and Player Choices being outright broken (see above link for workaround), the game has performed very well on the Deck. There were some scenes where framerate dipped below 30 (for the whole duration of the scene) but that could've been partially caused by me streaming from Deck to Steam Link on my TV.
Overall works well.

No issues at all.
I made the subtitles bigger in the game settings. I also transferred my saves from Season 2 by copying them from compatdata/261030 directory to compatdata/536220.

Works pretty much perfectly
Everything here runs pretty much perfectly without any real issues. The game for me with the transition cutscenes did stutter, but only for a second and resumed normally, I did not experience any freezing like others did.
Works without any issues.

I locked the game at 30 FPS.
The subtitles were unreadable, but you can change that in the settings.
During gameplay it drops me down to 20 FPS.
45fps lock
High settings with a 45fps because 60fps was a little stutters
Game plays great with no issues
If you want to use your previous saves from other seasons look up the commands online
Worked perfect out of the box. Save file from previous entry needs copying from 261030 compatdata folder into 536220 in order to import save
In Episode 3, there's a texture stretching artifact centered on the player character. The first time I thought it was due to the SD overheating but it happened on two different play-throughs, in the exact same scene. It goes away shortly after.
Full play-through with a DS3 controller
Finished game without issues

Game runs great on the SteamDeck. Text is legible and only had one area with visual defects as another poster stated. However, game was unable to find and import my save from Walking Dead Season Two. I had to run the following command to copy the season two save to the directory the game was looking to import it from:
cp -r ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/261030/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My\ Documents/Telltale\ Games/The\ Walking\ Dead\ Season\ Two ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/536220/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My\ Documents/Telltale\ Games/The\ Walking\ Dead\ Season\ Two
Not played for long, however I saw no huge issues.
Note: There is some stutters, however they have all been minor.
Generally works flawlessly.
There are occasional stutters, especially on scene transitions. Some are almost imperceptibly tiny, while others freeze the screen for around one second before recovering.
During the vehical storage yard the graphics fracture obscuring the visuals. Oddly only this area in the whole game.

Worked on proton experimental but not 6.3-4 or 5.13-6
frozen with white screen at startup
Runs great out of the box. With multiple displays, cursor can be stuck on main screen (move game to monitor 1 to fix), or use 1 display.
Works out of the box.
I don't notice any slowdowns after transitions, but mine is using the ACO shader compiler, so that might be why.

Mostly perfect, though minor stutters are present and manual tweaks are needed to import old saves from past seasons.
Save files from earlier seasons can only be imported if you manually copy them to the correct location in the compatdata folder for this game. If that is done correctly, then they will import perfectly.
There are occasional stutters, especially on scene transitions. Some are almost imperceptibly tiny, while others freeze the screen for around one second before recovering. It doesn't really affect the functionality of the game, but it reduces the aesthetic impact of some scene transitions. Perhaps due to shader compilation or something? I'm unsure if these stutters also exist on Windows...they might, since Telltale games usually have some degree of jank.

Minor stutters for a few seconds when loading new areas, other than that it works perfectly. Completed the game and experienced no bugs or crashes

Performance like native and online connectivity seems to work.

Micro-stutters, possibly due to game's inbuilt Vsync. Turning off Allow Flipping in Nv control panel helps alleviate the issue somewhat.

Nothing happens when trying to launch the game, tried different Steam launch options and disabling overlays.
