

Game would pop up a bunch of .NET errors upon after clicking launch. Unable to get further than that.
Does NOT launch. Game is depracated regardless of the system you are using.

Got stuck only at the "connecting to server" stage. Most of the problems and errors were regarding an invalid version of the gecko lib. Game is meant to run on windows then, thus doesn't run well regardless of the platform you are using.

Game can't launch
Couldn't progress past the game client updater, it updates to a random percentage and then crashes out

Restarting a couple of times to finish installation, still couldn't start
It was missing some Xul Assembly DLL which I couldn't find in winetricks. Installed xna40 but then there was an issue with direct x that I couldn't solve.

Cycles through updater
Consistently reloads the updater cycling over and over. Game does not actually launch. unplayable
Does not start, proton 5.0-7. When launched through Wine Mono, the game launcher cyclically restarts with a NameResolutionFailure exception.

Fetches and installs updates, goes into infinite loop afterwards
Client installs and gets initial updates, continues in infinite loop trying to get updates afterwards (actually had to restart my system because of such). Thus, thwarting any attempt to play the game (as this prevents me to getting to the menu to select a world to join). I should note the 116 hours in game were on Windows.
