Game does not respond to input from the default gamepad configuration.
After taking time to switch to keyboard layout and set up bindings I was technically able to start the game. But at that point it said it detected a gamepad and switched input methods to the non-functional gamepad. I had no means to get to the options menu and set it back to keyboard, rendering the game unplayable.

Uppon launch, the game crashes without even creating a window, unless I set the "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" launch option (under properties > general > set launch options)
With "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1", the game runs normally
