You have to limit the game to run at 60 fps otherwise it runs very slowly. Apparently a known issue with the game regardless of platform. Easisest to do through mangohud, either through the config file or launching with MANGOHUD_CONFIG=fps_limit=60 mangohud %command%.
If on a high refresh rate monitor you'll need to limit framerate to 60 fps otherwise it runs very slowly. Easiest way to do it is through mangohud using fps_limit option.
load times slightly longer than on windows, but its barely an issue. Everything else runs great out of the box.
Just install and run. This is a snappy keyboard and mouse game which feels like native and demands very little resources. Audio, graphics, transitions and performance are on point. You can test the Steam demo if in doubt. Notice I am happily running it on the open Radeon driver.

the audio crackles something fierce and closing the games end up crashing my whole computer. Did not get into game, the sound is a crucial part of the gameplay.
Bought from GOG, installed with GameHub.
Tried PROTON_USE_WINED3D11, PROTON_NO_D3D11, and PROTON_NO_ESYNC but it won't load into the menu. It just says loading and then crashes.
Installed, played the first album, works flawlessly.
