Preemptively installed the extra font as described here and had no issues other than the game being muted in the OS

To fix the missing text issue you'll need to google and download a font called "msgothic.ttf" (I'm not sure if I can post the link here). Then, you'll need to find your Steam folder and paste the font file in here: Steam/steamapps/compatdata/445800/pfx/drive_c/windows/Fonts/. The text should display properly now. Please excuse my poor english and any grammatical errors.

Fullscreen issues on multiple display setup, on focus change to another app, the screen gets shrunk and cannot be restored. After fullscreen settings saving, you cannot change the resolution anymore.
