With current latest proton-beta it works right away incl. saving settings, etc. Wheel (Logitech G25) also had no issues. Haven't tested VR though, so rating is for Desktop only!

Runs great, but same issue as everyone else: Can't save settings or game. This is definitely a Steam Proton issue, I tested in Lutris and it's not an issue there.
