Whenever "Venture Wing" item is used, the game uses a spinning transition that crashes every time.
The game itself played fine, outside of the crashing. I've heard reports that video cutscenes don't play properly, but I can't verify that at the moment. If this crash bug were solved, this would be an enjoyable experience on Steam Deck.
indeocodecs install now works with the flatpak version of protontricks so movies are now playable
Installed indeo codecs using protontricks. The sandbox used by the flatpak version of protonticks causes the indeo codec setup to crash, so I installed protontricks via pip instead.
Game prompts about missing indeo codecs when launching the game, which prevents cutscenes from playing. Installing the codecs via protontricks resolves the error and allows cutscenes to play.

Movies require indeo codecs. Trying to install with protontricks just returns errors.
Game itself works great on latest proton. Can't find any way to get movies and some audio problems working.

I had to switch to full screen otherwise mouse hangs.

The few minutes of the game intro I played, up to where I could move freely, worked fine after the protontricks item was completed

Alt-Enter successfully switches between Fullscreen and window, but after fullscreen the first time, returning to a window had lost the window manager's title bar, etc until game restart
Install winetricks/protontricks icodecs to Proton prefix (427680) to play video cut scenes properly.
