Works out of the box without problems. Playing with friend (he is on Windows) in coop, no major problems. Some notes:
- We experience minor freezes when traveling from one location to another, but I think it isn't Linux-related problem;
- We use only in-game voice chat, it works perfectly;
- Sometimes the game utilizes my GPU too much. For example, in some portal worlds GPU utilization could reach 100%. It doesn't affect performance much (FPS are still about 60 with VSync and temperature is ok), but nevertheless. Graphic settings are low-middle

No issues on Linux. Any bugs you encounter is mostly on the windows side.

the game works fine with regular proton but has a bit of shading artifacting, tho switching to protonGE 9-27 fixed the issue

Runs like it should

works perfect out of the box
Getting 70+ FPS on 2560x1440, all settings set to best possible option.
Runs very good, no need for tinkering on my part

Launch option is required to prevent performance degradation over time. Performance is superior to native Windows once this tweak is performed. Multiplayer also runs flawlessly.
Modding via UE4SS works via the launch option WINEDLLOVERRIDES="version.dll=n,b" and modded gameplay also works online without issues.

LD_PRELOAD=""
There seems to be some sort of memory leak resulting in significantly degraded performance after about 45 minutes of play. Using LD_PRELOAD="" fixed this.
Performance is excellent!

DX11 mode required in my case, but otherwise very playable.
When moving the ingame cursor using a gamepad stick, the cursor will often flicker or disappear until movement stops. There doesn't seem to be an identifiable pattern to this; sometimes it works, sometimes it's flickery.
Game loads fine and initial splash screens play at full speed, but once the menu screen loads, framerate drops to ~12FPS UNLESS I use DX11 mode, in which case it goes back to working normally. Performance degradation seems to persist anytime past the main menu, including in games, making it unplayable without DX11.
For reference, this report relates to my system with a bleeding-edge GPU, the ASRock Steel Legend RX 9070 XT. The same exact system with the only difference being my previous GPU, an EVGA RTX 2080 XC Gaming, did not experience the DX11 "requirement" issue. I tried a few different launch options mentioned in other reports here in hopes that I could go back to the non-DX11 mode, to no avail.

The FSR anti-aliasing feature caused some very weird graphical artifacts for just 3D stuff. Menus would draw regularly, but anything 3D would have colorful, partly-translucent and extremely annoying noise that made seeing the things below - the game - almost impossible.
Switching to non-FSR anti-aliasing resolved this entirely.

Excellent compatibility, absolute love letter to both Half-Life 1 and SCP-style settings.

Primarily over LAN, but no issues.
I love this game, they keep making it more delightful. I imagine it's even more fun with more people, I've mostly played as a duo.

Played multiplayer from start to current content without any issues at all. Ran smooth and performance was better compared to when I tried it on Windows. Enjoyed every moment.

If you trying to play with Proton Experimental you may need to install VC Redist and .NET Runtime from protontricks to start the game.

Ironically this works far better on Linux than on Windows
I havent experienced a single crash playing completely normal (non D11), yet my Windows friends on Nvidia GPUs have experienced quite a few crashes.

Works great, as long as you run in DX11 to avoid crashes
Must be run in DX11 mode (prompted by steam at startup) otherwise crashes so frequently it is almost unplayable

__GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATION=1 WINEDEBUG=-all ASYNC=1
For reference, with my hardware and the game running on lowest graphics playing single player, it averages 80 FPS

As native to Linux as a game can get!
Runs well on Proton Version 9. Just install and play!

👌 👌 👌
It works perfectly without any problems.

Runs great
The game would rapidly flicker outside of fullscreen
With max settings at 1440p, I am easily able to achieve >120fps. The game looks and feels great.

Zero complaints, both in performance and game itself.

protontricks
On my desktop PC it works perfect, on my laptop with a intel cpu and Nvidia GPU it runs into a lot of issues.

Runs perfectly in DX11 without tinkering and runs in DX12 if you run the protontricks line
protontricks 427410 win10 vcrun2022
The protontricks line is necessary for DX12 mode to work.

The cursor did not appear immediately upon dying and required I opened and closed the menu before being able to select a respawn location. No idea if this is related to Proton.
During the intro looking out into the great wilderness caused signifigant slowdown, even when the distance itself wasn't being rendered (indoors). This did not occur throughout the rest of the gameplay (which was inside the facility), and the intro otherwise ran fine.
Game freezes on the first loading screen when launched with DX12. DX11 worked out of the box.

As of the most recent update, only dx11 mode works for me, but everything else is still flawless.
Worked flawlessly, dx12 right out of the box. No issues

Half Life survival with a very likeable cast of characters and cool tech to discover
On the recent update there are some artifacts with the flashlight, but not often
The game runs at medium 60fps but dips hard to 15fps very often
Very fun game, if you need more FPS you can also turn off Lumen in the config files (not in game)

Major inspiration from the HL1 era of gaming, combined with modern survival (horror) elements and humor.
I can run the game in DX12 but on the start menu I had about 10 fps, whereas on DX11 'lower end pc mode' it runs with 200+ fps. So use of that mode is highly recommended.

I used GE-Proton9-10 and tried it with proton experimental and 9.0-2 with no problems aswell
Worked for me under both Wayland and X11
Tryied only single player so far, but works flawlessly.

Couldn't get more than 10-20 fps
Had to run it in DirectX 11 mode even though my computer is not lower-end. Once I did that I got 180-220 fps at epic graphic settings.
No other problems so far.

DX12 hard crashes randomly, DX11 has noticable performace hit compared to DX12. otherwise game runs fine outta the box.
Occasionally while alt-tabbing, the the game will flicker rapidly on top of the window i tab into. though this happens with other games/software i use.
I have to launch through the DX11 option due to DX12 hard crashing randomly. There is a noticable decrease in performance. DX11 will dip to 40-50 FPS in more detailed areas while DX12 hits my FPS cap of 75 almost constantly. (High Settings)
DX12 launch will hard crash whenever it feels like it. DX11 has not crashed for me yet.
Most of my problems revolve around DX12, of course all of this may be different depending on your system yadda yadda, game is good.
