The game runs fine out of the box but has some quirks. The first one is that the resolution can be incorrect or stretched, which can be fixed by forcing 800p or 720p within SteamOS. The second one is that its framerate sometimes locks itself to 40fps in interior scenes such as Pembroke Hospital. And the final one is that it is pretty power hungry when set to 60fps.
As such, the best way to play the game is in my opinion to leave it on its default settings (a mix of medium and high), set the resolution scale to 100% instead of 90% and cap the framerate at 40fps. The game will run at 60fps during general gameplay if you want it to, but will dip during cutscenes, traversal loading and set itself to 40fps in some interior as noted before. As such, capping at 40fps is the way to go and it plays great that way. You can also set the TSP to 10 for some extra battery.
A good experience after some tweaking and the game looks pretty good. It's a rough gem too, as it is a bit of a messy action-RPG but with a pretty amazing Gothic atmosphere that really shines on the OLED screen.

Locked fps at 30
Notes found in the game are somewhat small. I didn't have problem reading but its a bit uncomfortable. Subtitles and menus are fine
my own
Totally playable, i got only two crashes but not a big problem. Game is totally playable.
30 FPS limit let you play normally and save a lot of battery. This game also doesn't need super high graphics, so you can put everything to the low except for the rendering distance to the maximum
All notes inside the game are too much small
Changed to game to run at most 30fps. Does not make a difference to the gameplay but improved battery life greatly
Just use Steam+L1 in order to bring in the build in magnifying when trying to read small text
