Forces fullscreen, causing squished native resolution
Corrupted and overwrote my endgame save >:(
"Playable" by definition, not intolerable. Will corrupt your saves every now and then. 1280x800 (native) gets squished due to forced fullscreen, requiring the Stretch scaling mode to fix it. You'll need a lower resolution to get a comfortable 40fps with about 2hrs of battery. Not ideal, but you can make it work if the Steam Deck is your only option.

Pretty solid 40-45 fps at native res med settings. for more stable 45 lower res to 1152x720 w/fsr. For 60 fps 960x600 w/fsr.
To enable fsr, toggle in game fsr on/off.

Grip buttons
TDP 10 GPU clock 1300
Settings all low or off In your game profile use FSR sharpening 3 Limit to 40fps Use DX12

40fps lock
Steam Deck Oled, medium preset, 1152x720 fsr on, max tdp
Had to change graphic settings to medium. No more crashes afterwards.

Steam Deck OLED: Game will crash on default settings. These are the best settings:
- Quality: ultra
- VSYNC full
- Ray tracing Normal
- VRS OFF
- Reflections HYBRID
- Hairworks, Advanced Physix ,Tesslalations, HDR: ON
- Shading rate 0.4x
This will give just under 30 FPS. Lowering quality does not affect FPS by more than 5 FPS.

Works brilliantly for me. Medium graphics settings and 40fps cap gives just under 2 hours battery. No issues with performance or controls at all.
Capped screen at 40hz, very stable for medium settings and no Tesselation.
Game runs pretty great, you can even get away with playing at higher settings but you gotta cap the fps
40 FPS cap - ran it at 800-600 FSR low - med settings pulls around 10-13w of power
if you pressed the steam button or the quick access button the game would lose the controller and you had to press those buttons again for the controller to get detected
game said my save was corrupted but loaded it fine

I bound the back buttons for the analog stick clicks. Left touchpad for hotkeys. Right touchpad for mouse input, helpful for mouse like aiming.
Medium graphics preset. 30FPS lock with Gamescope. Gets me 2 to 2.5 hour battery life.
I don't know if it's an actual game bug or just an issue with the linux build. But my quicksaves would apparently get corrupted every now and then, like the game would say they're corrupted. Good thing the game autosaves frequently. I get this issue with the windows version too.
