The singleplayer mode worked perfectly, and doesn't appear to have any issues. I didn't test controller functionality in the video, but I tested it very quickly before making this report. The mappings seemed to be a bit wonky, but it may be that I haven't got my controller setup correctly with Steam. You should be able to remap the buttons if there's an issue.
