Although this game has a Linux-native build available, Steam does not list it as having Linux support. This can happen if a game has an unofficial, unfinished, or unsupported build. You may need to force Steam to enable Proton for the game in order to run properly.
My internet is trash lol. Any issues I saw were likely not due to the game.
Proton GE, Experimental, and Current (8.0-4) will allow the launcher to run, but attempting to load into a server will cause the game to hang. I noted here that there was some success with a 5.x experimental version, pulled 5.13-6 on a hunch. Works as it does on Windows.
Seems hit/miss on what Proton version works. The current Experimental seems to work, GE wouldn't launch.
