cpu tdp 8, performance, lock 40 fps
Run w/o changing proton on deck lcd

STEAMDECK=1 %command%
plays at a smooth 45fps most of the time but dips to low 20s in big cities.
Game would often freeze when switching cutscenes during story quests when using GE 10-8, but switching to proton experimental seems to have fixed it.

assigned buttons for mouse wheel up/down
important cinematics give white noise for a second and just dissapering, cutscene audio continuing to play
in general, works great. some menues does not support gamepad, but we have touch screen and back buttons to assign. cinematics are the only problem

Used GE Proton 10-7 for Steam deck OLED

Log In UI likes to be invisible, aswell as other "external" UI elements like Announcements
After using GE-Proton 10.8, the game ran very well at medium settings with occasional frame drops in very detailed and crowed areas. Otherwise about 40-45 FPS on Average. Battery Life won't be long, with max 3 hours if you're lucky.

As of 7 June 2025, I able to launched it on oled and it played suprisingly well at least for me.
Sometimes when i launched it, it crashes immediately. But when you can get to play it, you can get up to 60 fps, sometimes dip lower 30. I actually suprised that the default settings for graphics were set to Quality . Hopefully it can get support to play on steam deck officially.

Could not call keyboard in desktop mode; login modal window has invisible text fields in game mode, open and close the steam overlay to get brief glimpses of it
I believe we need GE Proton for now until Proton Experimental includes these fixes or Kuro Games issues official Steam Deck support. Performance is so-so, 30-55fps with shadows Low, Performance mode, FSR enabled. Visually it looks fine with no upscaling degradation.
I needed an external keyboard and mouse to create my account

Wait for official support. (Attempted on OLED)

Was able to install, launch, and get ingame. FPS runs around 35-45 depending on the area your in. Boss arenas play around 50fps.
Its a very playable experience. But I had everything set tot he lowest setting (besides steam decks defualt resolution) and the settings are lackluster when trying to gain anymore FPS out of wuwa. Playing the game at 40fps in combat and clean 60 in menus. If you don't have another way to play wuwa or don't have a ps5 to stream to your deck its not the worst way to play.
Concerning the Chinese Text popup that comes up when starting the game. I tested in SteamOS Deck mode and could jsut ignore it and it doesn't pose anysort of problem.

A playable experience. Could be improved if there's a way to intergrate software upscaler like DLSS or FSR
added scroll wheel and other PC hotkey for ease of use on controller mode
there is a white pop-up box, just ignore it
in-game resolution option is limited, and there's no way to enforce any options with the game is set to "Fullscreen" mode. Recommended to change "Maximum Game Resolution" before running the game in Steam Deck from Setting>Display>Advance
As of version 2.4, the game is poorly optimized. Setting the game on "Ultra Perfomance" mode with the lowest setting @800x500 resolution could yield roughly 40~45fps. Average around 30-40fps
The game is playable on a Steam Deck LCD model as of version 2.4. However, some tinkering on the graphic setting is needed to achieve the most optimal experience.

It is possible to run the game from desktop mode with the least amount of drawbacks. Running from game mode isn't recommended as of ver. 2.4
Initial pop-ups and login UI elements might block the screen, might shown as black screen on initial launch from steamOS mode. This issue can be mitigated by running in desktop mode.
there's no option for scaling resolution in fullscreen mode
There's a white pop-up that like to cover the screen. It has no content and only have two options "accept" and "cancel" in chinese. They both doesn't seems to to do anything when you click on it beside repeatedly reopen. However, there's a black pop-up box that cover the screen after you finish logging in that impossible to remove on steamOS mode. This does not seems to be an issue on desktop mode. I suspect it might be related to the initial pop-up
Keep in mind, as of version 2.4, Kuro Games is still trying to make the game compatible on Steam Deck. While the game can be run without anti-cheat blocking the game as from the latest version, there's still a lot of UI issues that needed to address before it can fully run on steamOS mode

The game works on the Deck, but not on Linux desktop PCs

Game refusees to boot. Waiting on devs to add Steam Deck support

Able to login via username/password, but kicked out of the game after loading in due to anti-cheat module.
kuro games is apparently working on steam deck compatibility, hopefully soon.

but they are adding support to the Steam deck

The game lets you in on Steam Deck for the main menu, ACE kicks you out when entering the actual game

dead game, doesn't work on Steam deck, I tried using different protons with no result. Previously had to install the Windows to run. I expected that the release in Steam will fix the situation, but alas
