The intro pre-rendered cutscene is noticeably de-synced. No fix was found, the rest of the game doesn't seem impacted.
Not using GE-Proton8-25 will lead to pre-rendered cutscenes having showstopper issues (e.g. non-progressable black screens, "TV color test" screens, etc). This is the most up-to-date Proton/GE that fully works in my tests.
- 8bitdo controller: RT was undetected. My solution was to completely unbind its useage, and use Steam Input's custom bindings to change RT to be the keyboard's equivalent keybind: "." (period).
- Game doesn't support gamepad prompts, so a mod ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=657934045 ) is needed. After extraction it can be applied with:

Add command line above so audio will play in video cutscenes. Some lines still seem to cut off in the beginning of videos.

Like i said some cutscenes that are not important to the plot have no audio. The other ones do have audio and otherwise the game works fine
Some cutscenes don't have audio. Since those are the ones starting a new chapter which just consist of short cutscenes that are not important to the plot and also have subtitles you can enjoy the story just fine
Couch Coop just worked out of the box
Proton experimental did not work well for me. The cutscenes that worked with GE did not work with experimental
Initially tried playing with out of the box Proton for Steam Deck. Video cutscenes (like the game intro video before the main menu) would not play at all. Ingame cutscenes and gameplay had graphical bugs. Then I tried using GE-Proton. With GE-Proton, the video cutscenes were then playable, however it still had the same graphical bugs. The game itself is playable and installed with no issues. Menus have no bugs.

It may work with some extra tweaking, although I'm not sure of it.
