Worked after using PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%. Beforehand, it would throw assertion errors about wine C++ runtime library and crash.

Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental, Set launch options
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

I can't speak about the performance drop since I don't have a control to refer to, but it was running properly. The launch problems had something to do with vkCreateComputePipelines. It was fixed by not using Vulkan.
